John Adams at Rockingham Sept 10

Welcome the Honorable John Adams, aka Peyton Dixon, Saturday, September 10 at 1:30 pm, as he reminisces on his life, including his tenure in Congress, his part in the Treaty of Paris, formally ending the Revolutionary War, his time as vice-president, and relationship with George Washington through many years. The program will be in first person, with time afterward to ask Mr. Adams questions.

Mr. Dixon is an actor-historian with 15 years of experience bringing John Adams to life. More information is available at his website, www.MeetJohnAdams.com.

The program will be presented in Rockingham’s Dutch barn, and light refreshments will be served afterward. The museum store will be open before and after the program. To guarantee a seat, please call 609-683-7132. While this is a free event, donations are always gratefully accepted and put toward providing more programming like this. Please note, there will be no 1 or 2 pm tours of the house that day.
