Join the Van Harlingen Historic Society on September 21 at 7 pm at the Mary Jacobs Memorial Library for a program about the history of farming in Montgomery from the early 1700s through today.
Using VHHS’s collection of historic photographs, objects from the Montgomery Farm Museum, and farmer interviews from the Memories of Montgomery Oral History Series, the program, presented by Judy Peters and Jessie Havens, will focus on farms, farmers, animals, crops, happy times, and heartaches.
