Montgomery Township Fall Ball is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a $50 per player “50 Year Anniversary Special.” The seven-week session, from Sept. 10–Oct. 22, is open to boys and girls residing in Montgomery, Rocky Hill, and Princeton.
Princeton residents ages four to 12 are eligible to play Montgomery Baseball under the Cal Ripken Charter. Princeton residents ages 13-18 arc covered by the West Windsor Baseball Babe Ruth Charter and therefore not permitted to play in Montgomery.
Fall Cougar Cubs – This program is for players who will be entering pre-K and Kindergarten in the fall. Cubs will meet once each week on Saturday afternoons from 2-3 pm.
Fall Ball Prospects – For those entering 1st or 2nd grade, Prospects will meet once each week on Saturday afternoons from 2-3:30-pm.
Fall Ball Minors – For players entering 3rd and 4th grade, Minors will play games once each week, no practices, on Saturday mornings from 11 am-12:45/1 pm. Minors play against other Montgomery teams and may play one to two season games against Hopewell teams at home or at nearby Hopewell.
Fall Ball Majors – For players entering 5th and 6th grade, this program plays one to two games each week, NO practices, sometimes a weeknight and on each Saturday; times vary. Majors play against other Montgomery teams and Southern NJ District 1 teams in nearby towns. Most of the games are home and some games away (up to 30-minute drive). This is an exciting program for players new to the 50/70 program, and the league excited to once again be a part of it.
Fall Ball Babe Ruth 13 Prep – For players entering 7th grade, this program plays one to two games per week, NO practices, sometimes a weeknight and on each Saturday; times vary. Babe Ruth 13 prep plays against other Southern NJ District 1 teams in nearby towns. Most of the games are home and some games away (up to 30 minute drive). This is an exciting program for players new to the 60/90 program, and the league is excited to once again be a part of it.

Montgomery residents Danielle Losier, Maddie Birch, and Zoe Cook, along with Gwen Allen from Princeton, were each selected to represent New Jersey in the Brine National Lacrosse Tournament Championships in Richmond, Virginia. The 2016 Team New Jersey went 6-0 to become the 2016 National Champions. They beat teams from New York, Ohio, Maryland, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania before beating Georgia in the finals by 10-9.
