FDR: An Arsenal for Democracy Will Be Performed at the Mary Jacobs Library

Visit the Mary Jacobs Memorial Library on Wednesday September 14 at 7 pm for a brilliant theatrical performance of Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s famous “An Arsenal for Democracy” speech.

The date is December 29, 1940. FDR has just been re-elected to an unprecedented third term in office. But the world is in crisis and America may soon be drawn into war. Actor Neill Hartley, of House of Cards fame, will capture this historical moment in his one-man theatrical production.
